I take pride in the fact that my boutique criminal defense law firm, R.E. Huie & Associates, focuses on quality service and quality representation, not quantity. We follow the Golden Rule and treat our clients how we would like to be treated if we were in their shoes. That means we tirelessly take the time to make sure we empower our clients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their case, the courage they need to stand beside us in court, and the peace that comes with knowing that you have a law firm that not only cares about your case, but cares about you individually, as a person. It is the holistic approach to our criminal defense practice that sets us apart from the herd. While some law firms and lawyers focus on your criminal case in vacuum, we focus on the bigger picture: your life now--and more importantly--your life in the future. I often tell our clients that "we don't need repeat business." Why? Because I feel that if we've done our job correctly, you won't find yourself in a position where you need criminal defense advisement ever again. Quite simply, we are here to help change the world, one client at a time. And we are here for YOU.
When I met Ryan I was working full time in the personal development arena; hosting retreats, delivering tele-classes, and life coaching one-on-one. As our relationship grew, Ryan and I decided to continue our growth by studying Integrative Holistic Coaching. As an integrative life coach, you first and foremost work on you! How can you coach someone if you have never played the game yourself? As the word “holistic” implies, we were taught that you don't just address the main issue at hand but take account for all of the choices, people, and circumstances that brought you to this current place in life. Many times this includes a deeper look at your health, your relationships, your mental programming, your choices, and your spirituality. Ryan sees his clients as a whole, complex person…and not just a legally troubled individual. He says that if he’s done his job right, he should never be hired by that client again. Thus, our mantra around our little law office: “WE DON’T NEED REPEAT CLIENTS!”. What’s interesting is the fact that, after being around for 10 years, the Judges and Prosecutors also know this about Ryan and his clients. When he looks a Prosecutor or Judge in the eye and says, “You won’t be seeing this client ever again, they’ve learned their lesson,” they believe him. I think this is one of the “secret ingredients” to Ryan’s success…and why Ryan is able to achieve and obtain outcomes that other attorneys said couldn’t be done. While I have the privilege to call him my husband, I hope you have the privilege to call him your lawyer. If so, welcome to the family! I know we’ll have the opportunity to meet in person one day soon. In the meantime, I’m cheering you on!
